111 g All-purpose flour
13.2 g Sugar
3.4 g Cinnamon
3.6 g Baking powder
2.7 g Salt
75.0 g Apples
89.6 g Beer
15.0 g Butter
Icing:
100 g Confectioners' sugar
19.3 g Milk
0.55 g Vanilla extract

Instructions

Preheat oven to 175°C. Line a square baking pan with parchment, letting ends extend up sides.
Whisk together the flour, sugar, cinnamon, baking powder and salt. Add apples and beer and mix just until blended (do not overmix). Transfer to prepared pan. Bake until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean, 40-45 minutes.
Lifting with parchment, immediately remove cake from pan. Brush all sides with melted butter. Cool. Meanwhile, combine all icing ingredients. Spread or drizzle over cooled cake.
