Cheddar Buttermilk Scones

These scones have a delicate flakey texture thanks to the buttermilk and a bold savory cheese flavor.

Instructions
Sieve the baking powder, salt, sugar, baking soda and flour together.
Cut the chilled butter with a mixer or food processor until it resembles coarse crumbs.
Stir in the cheddar cheese and buttermilk until combined. The batter should look dry.
Shape the dough into a 13 mm thick square.
Preheat the oven to 205°C (fan oven 185°C, air fryer 175°C).
Cut out round scones using a round cookie cutter. Place the scones on a baking tray lined with baking paper (or air-frying basket) and bake for 15 minutes (air fryer 12 minutes).
